Your H2O Parquet by Pacific is more than just a floor … it’s a statement of style, comfort and durability. Engineered with a smart mix of stone, wood, calcium carbonate and thermoplastic resins, this floor is water-resistant and easy to maintain,  but it still needs proper care to ensure long-term beauty.

With regular dry cleaning, occasional damp mopping, and awareness of what not to use, your floor will remain as stunning as the day it was installed.

1. Daily Cleaning: Keep Dust at Bay

Dust and debris can slowly damage the surface over time. That’s why dry cleaning with a vacuum or microfiber cloth is recommended for daily care.

●      Use a soft-bristled broom, dust mop, or vacuum with a hardwood-safe setting.

●      Avoid rotating brush vacuums.

●      Do not drag objects across the floor — always lift furniture or use felt pads.

Pro tip from Pacific: Place doormats at entrances to reduce dirt from outside.

2. Weekly Cleaning: Damp, Not Wet

The surface of this click-system flooring is sealed and stain-resistant to common products.

Tips for regular cleaning:

●      Use a neutral detergent diluted in water.

●      Apply with a damp microfiber mop or cloth, never soaking wet.

●      Always follow the grain of the wood pattern.

Avoid waxes or wax-based detergents — they are not suitable for H2O Parquet.

3. What If There Are Stains or Construction Residues?

After installation or during renovations, some residues may remain.

●      Use a slightly acidic detergent for construction-related dirt.

●      Always test any cleaner on an extra plank (uninstalled) before use.

●      For specific stains, use a Green Scotch Brite pad gently, never abrasive cloths or sponges.

●      Do not use steam cleaners — the floor is naturally bacteriostatic and doesn’t need high heat.

4. Avoid These Common Mistakes

●      Steam mops

●      Bleach, ammonia or vinegar

●      Abrasive tools or sponges

●      Industrial cleaning machines (unless used by professionals)

●      Wax or oil-based polishes

5. Extra Tips to Prolong Your Floor’s Life

●      Use felt pads under all chairs and furniture

●      Place mats at exterior doors

●      Clean up any spills immediately

Pacific’s H2O Parquet is built to last, but your habits matter.

With regular dry cleaning, occasional damp mopping, and awareness of what not to use, your floor will remain as stunning as the day it was installed.
